Selemawit's yoga journey began at home, in front of a screen. Over the years she explored hot yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa, and while each style offered something different, they all brought the same inner calm that inspired her to eventually pursue her Yoga Teacher Training. She usually gets into movement by pressing repeat on a song she loves and seeing where it leads. Expect a lot of R&B and Soul to move to (think Sampha, Pip Millet, Mustafa, Illnolledge) at a pace that's slow, strong, and deliberate. Her biggest belief is that yoga is a conversation between you and you. Ambition has no place here, but focus and dedication absolutely do.
